Owen Barry has been a working guitarist for more than 25 years. UK born, now based in Nashville, Owen is currently playing with top-selling American country music band, The Chicks. Owen’s reputation for great versatility has led him to work with a huge variety of artists worldwide, spanning many musical genres. As well as being in demand as a touring guitarist, he is also a sought-after recording/studio musician.

 

Some of the artistes Owen has worked with are: The Chicks, Gwen Stefani, Jackson Browne, Tal Wilkenfeld, Demi Lovato, Celine Dion, HER, Billy Gibbons, Tom Jones, Linda Perry, Brandi Carlile, GRIZ, NENA, Macy Gray. Not forgetting his own original band Purple Melon.

It was also the late, great, Jeff Beck that recommended Owen to Tal when she was looking for musicians to work with her and to take on the road.

 

It is with great joy and honour to welcome Owen and have his contribution garnering and embellishing the forthcoming follow up album ‘Changes’; the long awaited second release by the current REP collective after their debut ‘Airwaves’.​
