Mark (AKA Boweevil) is an experienced guitarist of over twenty years. Initially starting out in a ten piece funk band before migrating to something just as close to his heart: blues and soul. Hence the aptly named Dove & Boweevil Band were born and the seed of which gestated all over the UK ‘Blues Scene/Circuit’. However, this Norwich based guitarist can turn his fingers and the hands to which they are attached to a wide variety of styles and the genres to which they are associated. His live and session work has resulted in many album credits which have lasted the test of time.

 

Mark’s eclectic feel, his precision of note placement, the “when to play” and the “when not to play” flag he waves and champions was paramount to his invitation and inclusion on the album ‘Changes’; the long awaited second release by the current Random Earth Project collective following their debut ‘Airwaves’.
